Introduction

Portfolio is a group of projects and programs that operates under the portfolio umbrella. The most common types are:

  1. IT/ Technology Portfolio
  2. Non-IT/ Non-Technology Portfolio

If the organization operates in multiple countries you can utilize the portfolio functionality by defining a portfolio for each country. By defining a user as the portfolio manager, he/she will only see the projects under his/her portfolio/country. Defining the portfolio in this case has a data security aspect.

The Portfolio Manager of a country like Bahrain can only see Bahrain’s projects under his portfolio.

Add/Edit/Delete Portfolios – Optional


Steps:

  1. Click on Portfolio.
  2. Click on (+) Button.


  1. Type your portfolio name. e.g. IT Portfolio.
  2. Add your portfolio managers e.g. Any user. If the users are not defined yet you will not be able to add portfolio managers. This step is (optional).
  3. In this table, you will see the portfolio manager you defined in step 4, and you are able to delete your entries.
  4. Click add.



  1. If you want to Edit or Delete, click on marked icons. Tip: If the delete icon is disabled that means you have a project in your projects list linked to it.
